THE LOWDOWN

LEICESTER

  • Leicester were easily swatted aside by Man Utd last Sunday as they continued to look vulnerable in defence, and it doesn’t get much easier for them here as they take on the league leaders.
  • Youri Yielemans is a strong candidate to start after a couple of bench appearances, while James Maddison is a slight doubt as he continues to deal with a troubling knee issue.

ARSENAL

  • Arsenal looked to be heading for a fourth successive Premier League game without a victory last week but Mikel Arteta’s men found the net twice in injury time against Aston Villa to lift themselves back to the top of the table.
  • Thomas Partey remains a concern after missing out against Villa but Arteta appeared hopeful that he will be available, while Leandro Trossard will be hoping to keep his place over Gabriel Martinelli on the left wing.

THE PREDICTION

Arsenal got their title challenge back on track with their late victory at Villa last week and, given Leicester’s porous defence of late, they will be confident of causing the Foxes rearguard plenty of problems here. They have hardly been watertight at the back themselves lately though, having failed to keep a clean sheet in their last six games in all competitions, so this could very well be a contest containing plenty of goalmouth action. Leicester had scored eight goals in two games prior to their 3-0 defeat to Man Utd last weekend, so with that in mind, over 2.5 goals looks a distinct possibility in this clash.

TIP: OVER 2.5 GOALS
