An Allardyce side tends to be labelled with the boring/functional trope but the former Bolton manager is as pragmatic as they come and he will be aware that a fast start inside the first-half, with a raucous Elland Road atmosphere behind them, is as good a chance as any of clambering out of the bottom three and the relegation places. The visitors have been free scoring in the last couple of months, too, as they seek UEFA Champions League football for the first time this century. This could be a lunch time thriller with both sides requiring goals and points.
