- Eddie Howe and Newcastle’s remarkable recent run in the Premier League continued last time out as they came from behind away at Southampton to make it six wins in their last seven league games.

Newcastle current form makes them a very dangerous prospect here and Chelsea will have to be at their best to come out on top. However, Stamford Bridge should make for a partisan home crowd following the events of this past week as Chelsea fans unite together in support of their club. Head coach Thomas Tuchel is getting the best out of his attacking players and the Blues have created the perfect mix of a strong defence, combined with a potent attack. This should prove too strong for Newcastle despite their excellent recent run, so back a narrow home win.
