THE LOWDOWN

BURNLEY

  • A hard-fought 1-1 draw for Burnley away at Crystal Palace this past weekend extended their unbeaten run in the Premier League to three matches, with the Clarets having now picked up seven points from the last nine available to them.
  • Sean Dyche could name the same starting XI who featured at Selhurst Park, as both Johann Berg Gudmundsson and Matej Vydra remain out injured, although the likes of Charlie Taylor and Maxwel Cornet will each be hoping for a starting birth.

LEICESTER

  • Leicester were last in Premier League action over a week ago when they were beaten 2-1 by Wolves at Molineux, although since then they were victorious over Danish side Randers in the Europa Conference League.
  • The Foxes could be hugely boosted by the availability of Jamie Vardy, who has recovered from injury, however their defence remains heavily depleted due to the absence of players such as Wes Fofana, Jonny Evans, Ryan Bertrand, Timothy Castagne and James Justin.

THE TEAM NEWS

LEICESTER

PREDICTED XI (4-3-3): Schmeichel; Pereira, Amartey, Soyuncu, Thomas; Tielemans, Ndidi, Maddison; Lookman, Iheanacho, Barnes

THE PREDICTION

With injured players back among the Burnley ranks, Sean Dyche’s Clarets are starting to drag themselves towards safety having rediscovered their defensive steel, combined with the addition of some much-needed extra firepower up front in January. Their last home fixture saw them at their best, rock solid at the back and potent in attack from a set piece which saw them overcome Tottenham by a goal to nil. Leicester are notoriously poor at defending from set pieces and this is an avenue that are likely to exploit. Combine that with Leicester having not won in each of their last five Premier League games and the shrewd move here has to be backing Burnley to triumph via the draw no bet market.

Tip: BURNLEY DRAW NO BET
