Luiz Felipe Scolari’s Gremio side come into this on the back of a slender 1-0 defeat away to Fortaleza in midweek. That defeat extended their winless run of form to five matches with just one win in their last seven in all competitions. The former Brazil manager had improved Gremio immediately after his appointment but they have dropped off and sit inside the bottom four and the relegation places ahead of this weekend’s round of fixtures. They come up against a Juventude side that are now winless in their last four matches as they also drop down towards the bottom four. Both sides have averaged fewer than a goal per game throughout this campaign so under 2.5 goals appears a likely outcome.
