Fleetwood vs Rochdale prediction
A couple of weeks ago, Fleetwood Town produced one of the biggest upsets in the fourth round of the EFL Cup as they defeated English champions Arsenal on penalties. The Cod Army backed that up by easing past out of form Bristol Rovers by three goals to one in League Two last week.
Rochdale make the relatively short trip to the Lancashire coast on the back of a 4-1 defeat to Doncaster Rovers at Spotland in the EFL Trophy. Dale, following promotion from the National League last season, have been inconsistent throughout the campaign after losing manager Jimmy McNulty to Stockport County in the summer.
Ian Watson may now be coming under a bit of pressure in charge of Rochdale and Fleetwood will expect more cup success on Saturday.
