Flamengo vs LDU Quito prediction

Coached by former Atletico Madrid and Chelsea defender Filipe Luis, Flamengo come into this one on the back of a much-needed but slender 1-0 defeat of Bahia the other day thanks to an eighth minute winner scored by Uruguay international attacking midfielder Giorgian De Arrascaeta. They won the Copa do Brasil a couple of months ago to start Luis’ reign well.

They now face an LDU Quito side that defeated Macara by a goal to nil in a very competitive game at Estadio Bellavista in the Ecuadorian LigaPro the other day. That means they are now unbeaten in their last six matches across all competitions as they sit three points above Flamengo in the group stages of the 2025 CONMEBOL Copa Libertadores campaign.

This is a crucial game for qualification with two games to go. They are two strong, evenly matched and, crucially, defensive sides so a low-scoring affair would appear likely at the Maracana.

Flamengo vs LDU Quito tip: Under 3.5 goals
