After a summer of big spending, Fiorentina will have expected to really compete this season but it was a poor start last week as they welcome Frosinone to Florence.

Fiorentina vs Frosinone prediction
After a malaise that saw them even involved in a relegation battle last season, Fiorentina spent big over the summer. Their start was a majorly underwhelming one, though, as they succumbed to a Donyell Malen hat-trick inspired 4-0 hammering at the hands of Roma at the Stadio Olimpico last week.
Following their promotion to the top-flight, Frosinone are one of the teams expected to be battling against the drop throughout the campaign. They were steady in their opening game of the season but still succumbed to a slender 1-0 defeat at home to Juventus in Rome in their opener last week.
Frosinone will again seek to prove to be awkward opponents at Stadio Artemio Franchi, albeit the new look Fiorentina do have to remain favourites for this one in Tuscany.
