FPL Gameweek 25 – head-to-head comparisons: Ricardo Pereira vs Lucas Digne
Ricardo Pereira (£6.3m) finally produced the goods as he racked up 12 points in Leicester's clash with West Ham in Gameweek 24. That was the first time he has provided a goal or assist since Gameweek 14 and felt long overdue. A home game with Chelsea is next up for Pereira and will be a much more difficult challenge than the one posed by the Hammers.
Owners of Lucas Digne (£5.8m) looked set for another bumper haul but Everton’s spectacular collapse in stoppage-time against Newcastle cost the left-back his clean sheet bonus. After 12 points against Brighton in Gameweek 22, this should have been another outing with a double-figures return but it was not to be and he had to settle for six points thanks to an assist and two bonus points. Digne’s set-piece delivery as well as having the freedom to roam forward makes him an appealing prospect and his side’s home game with Watford also gives him a chance of a clean sheet.
Verdict: Lucas Digne
