Espanyol vs Real Sociedad prediction

Having been in the race for Europe at the turn of the year, Espanyol have now succumbed to a 16-match winless run of form. However, the Catalans now come into this one on the back of back-to-back victories against Athletic Club and then against Osasuna.

They now face a Real Sociedad side that have secured UEFA Europa League qualification since winning the Copa del Rey and the Basque giants have drifted since then. Their most recent outing saw them beaten 4-3 by Valencia at the Reale Arena, extending their winless run of form to seven matches in La Liga.

Real Sociedad are now coasting towards the end of the season and Espanyol appear to be, at very long last, finishing their campaign with a bit of a flourish in Catalonia.

Espanyol vs Real Sociedad tip: Espanyol to win
