England vs Sri Lanka prediction

England’s last ICC major tournament victory came on home soil when they famously lifted the ICC Women’s World Cup back in 2027, beating India in a dramatic final at Lord’s. Since then, it’s been consistent disappointment for the side led by Heather Knight and now Nat Sciver-Brunt. Under the command of head coach and perennial winner Charlotte Edwards, England will be hoping that home advantage works in their favour once again here.

Sri Lanka boasts a couple of dangerous operators, particularly at the top of their order. But England’s depth is significantly stronger and on what should be a good batting surface at Edgbaston, any outcome other than victory for the tournament hosts would be a surprise.

England vs Sri Lanka tip: England to win
