Elbasani vs BATE Borisov prediction
Elbasani, under the management of Ivan Gvozdenovic, went from the fourth-tier of Albanian top-flight in successive seasons between 2021 and 2024 before then finishing as runners-up in just their second ever season in the Albanian Kategoria Superiore.
BATE Borisov are Belarus’ most famous club but they have spent time away, having been a mid-table team for a few years and now without the title since 2018. They have qualified for Europe once again by winning the cup last season.
Despite returning to European football, BATE below may below the reputation that they have previously had and Elbasani are on an upward trajectory – and will fancy themselves to win this first-leg at the Elbasan Arena.
