Ecuador vs Saudi Arabia prediction

With an extremely impressive defence that conceded just five goals in CONMEBOL qualification for FIFA World Cup 2026, Ecuador will be expected to be difficult opposition for everyone they face this summer and they are awkward to beat, as shown by back-to-back 1-1 draws against Morocco and the Netherlands a few months ago.

They now face a Saudi Arabia side that churned through Roberto Mancini and Herve Renard in qualifying before now landing on Georgios Donis in April. That is because the Green Falcons suffered a couple of poor defeats in the March international break.

The Saudis may improve with Donis at the helm but Ecuador are firm favourites for a low-scoring encounter in this pre-tournament friendly.
