After picking up an excellent 0-2 victory away at Portsmouth, Derby County failed to back up that showing on the South Coast, losing 3-0 to West Ham in their following game. Meanwhile, West Brom dug deep to get back to winning ways after two underwhelming results, getting the better of Watford by a goal to nil.
It wouldn’t be shock if this one also turned out to be low-scoring. West Brom are capable of frustrating the Rams, who cannot afford another loss and may need to be tempered in their attacking approach. Therefore, the smart play looks to be backing under 3.5 goals regardless of who comes out on top.
