• Their most recent success came in Canberra against Sydney Thunder, whom they defeated by 20 runs after bowling them out for 131 defending 151/7, an excellent bowling performance.

THE PREDICTION

Brisbane Heat look a serious unit this season and stopping them in current form is a tall order. But Melbourne Renegades you could argue are in somewhat of a false position. They ran a strong Sydney Sixers side close at the SCG and were on top against Perth Scorchers leading up to the game’s abandonment (albeit bowling on such a dangerous pitch gave them a huge advantage). This could well turn out to be the fixture where the Renegades fire on all cylinders and being at home, backing them to win may just wind up being a shrewd play.
