This time it came against Melbourne Renegades after back-to-back victories against Sydney Sixers and the manner of all three wins will be worrying the rest of the competition. They eased to a nine-wicket victory with over five overs of their innings remaining as they had no trouble chasing down their target of 123 with Sophie Devine leading the way with a brilliant 77*. The Scorchers look a real threat with bat and ball and it is difficult to see anybody beating them on current form.
