THE PREDICTION
Sydney Sixers were outplayed once again as they suffered a third consecutive loss in WBBL|06 and they will be desperate to halt that run as they take on Adelaide Strikers. In a dramatic turnaround in their fortunes, the Sixers struggled with the ball as Hobart Hurricanes romped to a nine-wicket success as skipper Ellyse Perry’s superb 72* proved in vain. The Strikers have also hit a bump in the road after going down to Brisbane Heat on Saturday, making it back-to-back losses for the Adelaide side. Despite chasing an achievable 137 for the win, the Strikers could only muster 122/7 as they succumbed to a 14-run loss. Both teams have big improvements to make on their recent efforts but if Perry can receive some support from her teammates whilst maintaining her own form, the Sixers should be able to return to winning ways.
