Coventry City vs Wrexham prediction

You could argue that Wrexham are playing Coventry City at the perfect time, with Frank Lampard’s side winning the Championship title in midweek with a 5-1 thrashing of Portsmouth. It would be no surprise to see the Sky Blues take their foot off the pedal with their job now complete. That will only benefit Wrexham, whose battle to finish in the top six is set to go right to the final whistle on the last day of the season.

Right now, only goal difference is keeping the Red Dragons in sixth-place ahead of Hull City with Derby County also in with an outside chance. Getting a victory won’t be easy at the home of the champions but an intense, motivated Wrexham side could easily catch this Coventry team cold. Especially with the hosts ready to party come full time as they lift the Championship trophy. With that in mind, back Phil Parkinson’s men to get something out of this game.

Coventry City vs Wrexham tip: Double chance - draw/Wrexham
