Coronavirus in Sport – the impact on Snooker

31st March - World Women's Snooker and Hi-End Snooker announce that the 2020 World Women’s Snooker Championship, which was due to take place in June, has been postponed. A later date has not yet been announced.
20th March - The 2020 Betfred World Championship was postponed, with July and August as potential months to stage the tournament instead.
20th March - Q School has been postponed, and will not take place until after 2020 Betfred World Championship, which has yet to be rescheduled.
20th March - Barry Hearn is exploring the possibility of staging events behind closed doors in order to keep the circuit going. More details will be announced next week.
18th March - The Challenge Tour play-offs were postponed and a new date has yet to be announced.
17th March - The 2020 Coral Tour Championship was postponed following a joint decision made between WST and ITV Sport, with the tournament now set to take place on July 21st - 26th.
