The prediction

Collingwood (1st) suffered a shock 69-63 loss to Gold Coast after being held goalless in the first half before mounting a furious but unsuccessful comeback.

Fremantle (8th) claimed a huge home win, showing great character to overcome Hawthorn by 13 points (77-64) in a tough battle at the Optus Stadium.

Josh Daicos was the Magpies best player in the loss to the Suns, working tirelessly on the wing to accumulate 32 disposals and kick two important goals.

Andrew Brayshaw set the defensive tone for the Dockers against the Hawks with a superb all-round game, finishing with 29 disposals and a career-high and club-record 14 tackles.

Collingwood defeated Fremantle by 14 points (97-83) in a tough contest in Perth in Round 9 this season. The Magpies have won four out of the last five encounters between the sides, with one epic 75-75 draw last season.
