Chelsea vs West Ham Prediction

Enzo Maresca is not under pressure at Chelsea and he has been adamant all along that the Blues were never involved in the title race but hopes of finishing in the top four or five and gaining UEFA Champions League qualification are now being diminished. They took an early lead away at Manchester City last weekend before eventually losing 3-1 at the Etihad Stadium and that means they have now managed just one victory in their last seven matches in the Premier League. They face a West Ham United side that were unfortunate to have to settle for a 1-1 draw at Villa Park against Aston Villa last week, nearly nicking it late on before VAR ruled out Lucas Paqueta’s late winner. The Irons have collected four points from Potter’s opening three matches in charge in the league since losing to Villa in the third round of the FA Cup. Chelsea are wide open at the back and West Ham will fancy their chances of putting together some cohesive patterns of play in attack to at least score in what could be an entertaining encounter in west London.
