Chelsea Preview: Finding form
In the first-leg of this UEFA Europa Conference League semi-final tie in Stockholm last week, Chelsea ran rampant as they defeated Djurgarden by four goals to one thanks to a Nicolas Jackson brace as well as goals from Noni Madueke and Jadon Sancho.
Enzo Maresca’s Blues have begun to find some form in the Premier League, too, as they seek a top five finish and potential UEFA Champions League qualification. They defeated champions Liverpool by three goals to one at the Bridge at the weekend.
Djurgarden Preview: A memorable campaign
Djurgarden have surpassed expectations by even reaching the knockout stages of the UEFA Europa Conference League this season, not least the semi-finals, and their domestic form, both in the 2024 and the start of the 2025 Allsvenskan seasons has been below par.
The visitors, since that hammering that they took at home last week albeit getting themselves a goal back via 18-year-old substitute Isaak Alemayehu, have since shared a 1-1 draw with rivals AIK at the 3Arena.
Chelsea Team News: Probable rotation
Maresca has heavily rotated his Chelsea side throughout the season in this competition and that is expected to once again be the case. They will be without France international Christopher Nkunku for a few weeks now due to injury.
Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Jorgensen; Acheampong, Adarabioyo, Badiashile, Gusto; Walsh, James; Neto, Dewsbury-Hall, Sancho; George

Djurgarden Team News: Lots of injuries
Djurgarden have no fresh suspension issues for this week’s trip to London but they do have several injury concerns as Oskar Fallenius is a doubt due to a foot injury, whilst the likes of Piotr Johansson and Rasmus Schuller remain confirmed absentees for the Swedes.
Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Rinne; Stahl, Une Larsson, Danielsson; Kosugi; Finndell, Stensson; Haarala, Gulliksen, Priske Flyger; Nguen
Unavailable: Johansson (Injured), Nilsson (Injured), Aslund (Injured), Schuller (Injured), Zugelj (Injured)
Questionable: Fallenius (Injured)

Chelsea vs Djurgarden Prediction
Chelsea will likely rotate quite heavily in this one as they focus on the Premier League and after winning comfortably in the first-leg of their quarter-final against Legia Warsaw last month, they then suffered a 2-1 defeat to the Polish giants at home in the second-leg. The response from supporters was not a happy one and they will want to avoid any humiliations such as that but Djurgarden, as they did last week, will be confident of at least celebrating something in the English capital city.
