Barcelona preview: Brilliant Barca
Barcelona have scored 17 goals in their opening four games in La Liga as the Catalan giants aim to make win their third successive title. They dispatched of Valencia by three goals to nil at Mestalla at the weekend with another impressive performance.
They have been very good under Hansi Flick but frustrated in the UEFA Champions League with a semi-final exit to Internazionale a couple of years ago before losing to Atletico Madrid, surprisingly, in the quarter-finals last season.
Feyenoord preview: Fun start
Feyenoord come into this one on the back of a 3-1 defeat of last year’s surprise package in the Eredivisie, NEC Nijmegen, at the weekend. That means their five games in the league so far this season have consisted of 20 goals.
Under the management of former Barcelona full-back Giovanni van Bronckhorst, Feyenoord finished second behind PSV Eindhoven in the Eredivisie last season with an impressive, young squad at their disposal.
Barcelona team news: Eric Garcia suspended
One area in which Barcelona may be light in their squad would be at centre-back and they are even lighter than normal as Eric Garcia is serving a one-match suspension.

This should be an enthralling affair at Camp Nou with the way in which the two teams play. Barca will, as ever, get on the front foot and seek to suffocate their opposition with an intensity and energy that overwhelms everyone domestically. Feyenoord, though, have some threats in behind on the counter-attack and so a high-scoring home win, and a fun watch for the neutral, seems likely.
