Stoke City stunned high-flyers Charlton Athletic with an incredible first-half performance that saw them lead 4-0 at the weekend, eventually making it consecutive home wins for Mark Robins’ side. They’ve not pulled into mid-table whilst Cardiff City remain down the bottom end of the league, being one of just two teams who have yet to win a Championship game this season.
Cardiff will need to go for it here at home, with the pressure starting to build on their end following just three points from five games. But Stoke are in form and have reason to be confident against a Bluebirds backline who’ve conceded twice in each of their last four league games. Therefore, back both teams to score in a high-scoring showdown.
