Lecce have narrowly avoided relegation in each of the last couple of seasons and the Apulia-based outfit are expected to struggle again under the management of former Roma boss Eusebio Di Francesco.
Lecce earned a strong 2-0 victory away from home against newly-promoted Venezia in their opener before then being demolished by four goals to nil at home by a strong Roma side at Stadio Comunale Via del Mare.

Cagliari were stubborn enough against Inter but, as mentioned, were flattered by the result. Lecce will believe that a Cagliari side needing to come out should present them with opportunities and so siding with the visitors would appear a decent bet for this one in Sardinia.
