The prediction

Defending champions, the Brisbane Lions had their three-match winning streak ended by Melbourne last weekend. They succumbed to a very narrow two-point defeat at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

The Adelaide Crows, on the other hand, won their own slender thriller as they edged past St Kilda by just a point in controversial circumstances with the Crows benefitting from a missed offside call.

The Crows suffered three defeats on the bounce before beating the hapless Carlton and then that win over St Kilda. Brisbane will be reeling from a rare loss and will be confident of bouncing back here.
