Braga vs Ferencvaros prediction

The first-leg of this UEFA Europa League round of 16 tie saw Ferencvaros defeat Braga by two goals to nil at the Groupama Arena in Budapest, with goals in either half scored by Gavriel Kanichowsky and Lenny Joseph for the Hungarians.

Braga have been stubborn and generally strong throughout this season, sitting fourth in Liga Portugal and having been in the top eight of the league phase of the UEFA Europa League. Robbie Keane’s Ferencvaros defeated Ludogorets Razgrad in the knockout playoff round and their win last week means that they have now enjoyed six successive victories across all competitions.

Ferencvaros have some real quality in attack and they will fancy themselves to score in Portugal – and that may well be enough for them to progress into the last eight.

Braga vs Ferencvaros tip: Braga to win & both teams to score
