The unbeaten 30-year-old, who has 25 victories with 22 knockouts, takes on Marlon Tapales on Tuesday. Tapales is entering into his 41st professional fight with a record of 37 wins and three defeats so far. The 31-year-old Filipino held the WBO bantamweight between 2016 and 2017 before defeat to another Japanese fighter, Ryosuke Iwasa. Naoya Inoue is the heavy favourite to defend his belts and should win by knockout.
