The 38-year-old is the unified light heavyweight champion and is defending his titles as he takes on Liverpool’s Callum ‘Mundo’ Smith. The 33-year-old come into this one on the back of back-to-back victories against Mathieu Bauderlique and Lenin Castilo since his loss to Canelo Alvarez by unanimous decision. Smith has said he feels like he can stop Beterbiev in the 12 rounds. Smith has dished out some batterings in time but taken a few punches, most notably in that defeat to Canelo as well as against John Ryder. Given that Beterbiev has a 100% record of stopping his opponent, it would appear good value to back the defending champion here.
