Both these two teams have had a season to forget but particularly in the case of Welsh Fire. The bottom-placed side are still yet to pick up a point having lost all five of the group stage fixtures they have played so far. They simply cannot get anything going and crumble at the first sign of pressure. Combine that with key players being out of form and it’s a recipe for disaster.

Birmingham Phoenix haven’t been much better but at home you would expect them to have the better of things against such poor opposition. Ellyse Perry certainly isn’t one to give up, so expect her to lead this Birmingham side well and backing them to defeat the Fire appears to be the sensible move.
