Both teams are expected to perform well in the league stage this year, and Biratnagar Kings have plenty to prove after finishing second last time out, only to lose both of their playoff qualifiers to Sudurpaschim Royals and eventual champions Lumbini Lions. Led by spin-bowler Sandeep Lamichhane, the Kings look to have more strength in depth with the bat, especially in the middle order, which is where the experienced all-rounders Angelo Mathews and Andre Russell come in.
Chitwan Rhinos, led by Kushal Malla, have quality of their own Usama Mir and Hassan Ali, both of whom boast international experience with Pakistan. Also in the Rhinos squad is the evergreen 41-year-old all-rounder Ravi Bopara. But the likes of Mathews and Russell should adapt quickly to conditions in Nepal and push the Kings over the edge in this match, so consider backing them to win.
