Ashlyn Krueger ended the dreams of 16-year-old Mika Stojsavljevic in the first round, knocking the young Brit out of Wimbledon in straight sets. Krueger was good value for her 6-3, 6-2 victory and looks to build on that here, but doing so would involve her needing to beat Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova for the first time in her career.

Both these players boast a good power game and their respective serves could well turn out being the key to determining a winner in this second-round contest. Unenforced errors need to be avoided at all cost and when a break point comes along, it cannot be spurned easily. Krueger especially, has lightning first service game when on song.

You could make a case for either Krueger or Pavlyuchenkova to get the job done, but perhaps a smarter play would be to back a three-set encounter between them in a match that may well require more than one tie-breaker to decide.
