THE TEAM NEWS
LONDON BRONCOS
Head Coach: Danny Ward
Squad: Abdull, Adebiyi, Battye, Butler, Cunningham, Davis, Dixon, Fleming, Gee, Hindmarsh, Ioane, Kear, Lovell, Morgan, Pitts, Smith, Walker, Williams, Yates
Unavailable: Matty Fozard, Eloi Pelissier, Greg Richards
- London were left to rue a controversial refereeing decision as they went down to a heartbreaking defeat away at Huddersfield with the Broncos remaining at the foot of the table.
- The Broncos appear to have come through the Easter period relatively injury-free although Eloi Pelissier will miss out here due to the concussion protocol whilst Greg Richards is also out with a knock. Jordan Abdull is a doubt for this game
- In better news for the Broncos, Will Lovell is fit enough to return to the squad and so is halfback Jordan Abdull although he remains a doubt after the injury he picked up last week against Catalans.
SALFORD RED DEVILS
Head Coach: Ian Watson
Squad: Bibby, Burke, Evalds, Flanagan, Griffin, Hastings, Inu, Jones, Lussick, Lui, McCarthy, Mossop, Murray, Nakubuwai, Olpherts, Tomkins, Walker, Welham, Wood
Unavailable: Ken Sio, Ed Chamberlain, Gil Dudson, Junior Sa’u
- Salford couldn't back up their impressive win over Warrington on Good Friday as they were edged out by Wigan on Easter Monday but a trip to London represents a good opportunity to immediately get back to winning ways.
- The Red Devils rested stand-off Rob Lui for the Wigan game but he is expected to return to the line-up for the trip to the capital having being named in the 19-man squad with Lui set to be joined by the fit-again Lee Mossop.
- Mossop hasn’t been seen since he suffered an injury in Round 4 whilst Logan Tomkins also returns to the squad but Gil Dudson and Junior Sa’u both drop out with knocks suffered last week.
THE PREDICTION
London find themselves at the foot of the Super League table after a run of five matches without a win. They host a Salford side that have won just one of their last six after they failed to go back-to-back when facing Wigan on Monday with plenty on the line when these two come to blows. The Broncos need to end their winless run to try and propel themselves up the table, especially when playing at home. Salford on the other hand need to find some consistency if they are to make the top 5 and with Rob Lui back in the side this week, the Red Devils should win a high-scoring contest.
