THE TEAM NEWS
LONDON BRONCOS
Head Coach: Danny Ward
Squad: Abdull, Battye, Butler, Cunningham, Dixon, Fozard, Gee, Hellewell, Ioane, Kear, Krasniqi, Mason, Morgan, Pitts, Richards, Smith, Walker, Williams, Yates
Unavailable: Eloi Pelissier, Matty Fleming
- London secured back-to-back wins in Super League for the first time this season as they produced a very impressive display to beat Catalans in France and can now climb off the bottom of the Super League table with a win over fellow strugglers Hull KR.
- The Broncos lost Matty Gee during the warm-up last week but he looks like he has sufficiently recovered from the knock that kept him out of the game in France after he was named in the 19-man squad.
- Matty Fleming was the man to fill the void left by Gee at short notice last week but he suffered an injury during the game and will not be available this week with Ben Hellewell coming into the 19 in what is the only change for London.
HULL KR
Head Coach: Tony Smith
Squad: Atkin, Crooks, Dagger, Drinkwater, Hall, Hauraki, Johnson, Keinhorst, Lawler, Lee, Linnett, Livett, Masoe, Mulhern, Murray, Quinlan, Shaw, Tomkins
Unavailable: James Greenwood, Danny McGuire Danny Addy, Mitch Garbutt
- Hull KR secured a huge win as they took advantage of a lacklustre Warrington performance to claim their sixth victory of the season and ensured they avoided dropping to the foot of the table for another week.
- Rovers have only named an 18-man squad this week as they await news on some of their injured players with Mitch Garbutt the man who could come in after he was initially left out of the squad due to a calf injury.
- New head coach Tony Smith has wasted no time in bringing in some fresh faces with Luis Johnson, Daniel Murray and Harvey Livett all arriving on loan deals with all three set to make their debuts against London.
THE PREDICTION
London have done superbly well to even have a chance of retaining their Super League status at this stage of the season and can leapfrog Hull KR if they beat them here. Rovers have improved under new coach Tony Smith but will need to be at their best to defeat London who go well on home soil. They have picked up four wins at home this year but this is their biggest test to date with plenty on the line for both teams. This could turn out to be a pivotal game down at the bottom and although it should be a tight affair, the home side can edge it.
