- Canterbury were ordinary for most of the game against Canberra last week and must look to improve as they host the Dragons with time running out if they want to make a challenge for the top 8.
- The Bulldogs have again opted against making wholesale changes with Dean Pay naming an unchanged side in terms of personnel although Raymond Faitala-Mariner and Adam Elliott have switched positions in the back row.
- Dylan Napa is expected to be a late inclusion after he came through Origin without injury and although he is currently listed as a reserve, it would be a surprise if he did not take the field.

- St. George lost out on their derby with Cronulla last time out but the bye week and long turnaround should serve them well against what appeared to be a lacklustre Canterbury outfit last week.
- The Dragons are able to call upon Corey Norman in what is a huge boost but they will be without Tim Lafai and James Graham after both suffered injuries in the game against Cronulla.
- All three of St. George’s Origin players have been named in the side with Ben Hunt able to reform his relationship with Norman in the halves whilst Korbin Sims is promoted to the run-on side in the absence of Graham.
THE PREDICTION
Canterbury sit bottom of the NRL ladder with just three wins to their name all season. They failed to take advantage of an under-strength Raiders team last time out and now face the Dragons who had their bye last week with the away side capable of turning their poor run of form around with a win. Corey Norman’s return for St. George is huge and can be the catalyst for an upturn in performances with Canterbury struggling to improve sufficiently on last week’s showing to earn the points.
