The reigning champions have had to wait patiently for their turn to compete and are the last team of this year’s CPL to play. But Saint Lucia Kings finally get things started and do so against an Antigua & Barbuda Falcons side who bounced back strongly from defeat on opening night by beating Barbados Royals by six wickets with two balls remaining.
Karima Gore has been a star so far for the Falcons, lighting up the tournament with scores of 61 and an unbeaten 64 respectively. They have momentum in their favour, whilst the Kings are somewhat of an unknown quantity, although you’d expect the defending champions to pose tough opposition. Expect a close battle between these two franchises, but with home advantage in their favour, we’re leaning towards the Falcons.
