Angola vs Mauritania prediction

Angola come into this one on the back of being knocked out in the group stages of the CAF Africa Cup of Nations, having collected just two points from matches against South Africa, Zimbabwe and Egypt in Morocco a few months ago.

They now face a Mauritania side that put in a valiant and surprisingly strong performance against world and double South American champions Argentina back in March, succumbing to a 2-1 loss to the South Americans.

Mauritania made themselves extremely difficult to beat and so a low-scoring encounter is to be expected, albeit the Angolans remain slight favourites.
