America vs Monterrey prediction
Club America have won five and drawn one of their six matches in the 2026 Liga MX Apertura. The Mexican giants eased past the Columbus Crew by two goals to nil in the CONCACAF Leagues Cup quarter-finals last week.
They now face a Monterrey side that, under the management of Matias Almeyda, have underwhelmed at the start of their domestic campaign but they have remained stronger than most in this competition as they travel to Carson.
America are in a much better spot at the moment and they will have to be viewed as the firm favourites for this one in a battle between two behemoths of Mexican and North American football.
