The prediction

The Adelaide Crows host the Greater Western Sydney Giants in a highly anticipated match up on Saturday evening in Adelaide. The Giants have four wins against just the one defeat on the season and that was a tight contest against the Hawks. They trounced the Eagles and followed that up with a comfortable 28-point victory against St. Kilda in gather round. Toby Greene has been reasonably quiet in the early parts of the season, but he bounced back with a vengeance last week with five goals. One of the Brownlow favourites Tom Green chipped in with 28 disposals and he still sits in the top five for the competition with over 30 touches per week.

The Crows had been humming along through the first half against the Geelong Cats in front of a full house in Adelaide last week. The Cats came over the top late, but Adelaide will have lost no supporters based on that effort. Two weeks in a row they have featured in highly entertaining matches; the Cats match was preceded by a one-point loss to the Gold Coast Suns. After recording huge victories in their first three matches of the season, this one looms as a litmus test of how good they are.

This match has all the makings of another close battle with plenty of points on offer if the track in Adelaide is nice and dry.
