Adelaide United vs Auckland FC prediction

These two teams couldn’t be separated in the first leg, drawing 1-1 after a second half equaliser from Adelaide cancelled out Lachlan Brook’s opening goal for Auckland. Now with home advantage in their favour, Adelaide United will no doubt feel extremely confident about their chances and Auckland are in for a huge test defensively.

However, don’t expect an Auckland side who made it through the elimination final on penalties to go out quietly. They’ll be extremely tough to break down and are yet to concede more than a goal in a single finals series fixture so far this campaign. As a matter of fact, all four games played so far in this post season have been low-scoring affairs and with the stakes so high, it’s hard to see that changing here, so back under 2.5 goals to be scored for the fifth straight A-League contest.

Adelaide United vs Auckland FC tip: Under 2.5 goals
