Aarhus vs Benfica prediction
Benfica earned themselves a 3-1 victory in the first-leg of this UEFA Europa League play-off round tie, courtesy of goals from Rafa Silva, Leandro Barreiro Martins and Vangelis Pavlidis – but they won’t be too happy that it is only a two-goal margin.
Aarhus produced a stunning comeback against Lech Poznan in the UEFA Champions League second qualifying round before last season’s surprise Danish champions were beaten by Sabah in the third qualifying round.
Benfica lost to St Gallen in Switzerland and drew with Heart of Midlothian in Scotland and they will be a little concerned about this one. Marco Silva’s side should still score in Denmark but Aarhus will be confident of posing some major headaches and issues for the former Fulham and Everton boss.
