West Indies vs Australia prediction

West Indies have competed fairly well over the course of this series, but their batting has ultimately fallen short against an avalanche of quality fast bowling from Australia. Throw Nathan Lyon’s spin into the mix as well and it’s a recipe for success. With the series already secure, the tourists would no doubt love to finish with a 0-3 sweep as they continue to put behind them the disappointment of losing the World Test Championship final.

It would be no surprise if this third Test takes on a similar story to what we’ve already seen so far, specifically West Indies collapsing in their second innings. The Windies have accumulated just 284 runs across their two second innings digs across both Tests played and only once have managed to pass the 200-mark in four total innings. Such numbers cannot be ignored and forces us to lean towards Australia again in this game.
