The UAE Bulls can call upon some vastly experienced campaigners across this short and sharp tournament, with a big West Indian contingent among their squad, whether that be Sunil Narine, Romario Shepherd, Andre Fletcher or captain Kieron Pollard. Pakistan all-rounder Shadab Khan also features for the Bulls and should prove valuable with both bat and ball.
Yas Lions boasts some West Indian experience of their own in skipper Jason Holder, whilst USA international and one of the best franchise hitters of the year, Andries Gous could have a big part to play. Reliable quality with the bat comes in the form of James Vince, so this Lions side looks pretty well balanced.
However, the reigning champion Bulls look to have more depth down the order and backing them has to be favoured.
