In both defeats the Renegades batted first and failed to defend their target.
The Renegades' bowling has lacked potency, taking just four wickets across the games they lost. This bodes well for the in-form Laura Wolvaardt, who has begun the tournament on fire for the Strikers. She backed up her 70 against Melbourne Stars with 75 against the Heat, and it would be no surprise to see her record another significant total in this one.
