World number six Ons Jabeur cut a frustrated figure in the latter stages of last season after once again losing the Wimbledon final as the favourite, both in form and with the crowd. 23-year-old Yulia Starodubtsewa will set a new career-high WTA world ranking of 150th after qualifying for her Grand Slam debut here on Monday but she has not been rewarded kindly by the draw gods. Jabeur has not played competitively since the WTA Finals in November but that is probably a good thing as she aims to start refreshed and recharged. Back the Tunisian to win in straight sets.
