World number 55 Roman Safiullin takes on number 56 Jordan Thompson for the first time on tour in what should be a very tight clash on Sunday. 26-year-old Safiullin has impressed so far with straight sets victories over Brandon Nakashima and Dan Evans as he continues to improve on tour but Thompson is also through to the quarter-finals without dropping a set with two assured results over Dusan Lajovic and doubles partner Max Purcell.
