22-year-old Corentin Moutet is yet to drop a set this week in Adelaide with three very impressive wins over Jan-Lenard Struff, eighth seed Marton Fucsovics and Thiago Monteiro. The world number 115 is much better than his current ranking and always a tricky opponent to face for anybody as a diminutive left-hander that targets his opponents’ weaknesses. World number 58 Arthur Rinderknech had previously been enduring some poor form from the ATP Cup last week but he now takes a four-match winning streak into this semi-final after an excellent straight-sets victory over Karen Khachanov. The 26-year-old dropped a set to Soonwoo Kwon and a similarly speedy opponent in Moutet may cause him trouble here.
