Cam Norrie comes into the Paris Masters as the 10th seed full of exciting potential. The 26-year-old is up to a career-high 14th in the ATP world rankings following an incredible run to the Indian Wells title in early October to cap what has been a hugely successful breakthrough season. Norrie dropped three match points against Felix Auger-Aliassime last time out in Vienna to all-but take himself out of the ATP Finals conversation but that could actually help his Paris campaign here in what will be the last tour tournament before he leads Team GB at the Davis Cup Finals. 31-year-old Federico Delbonis enjoyed an excellent summer on tour on his favoured clay surface but the Argentine will be pleased to end his season here for a rest. He takes an eight-match losing streak into this first round encounter that Norrie should be able to add to without much fuss. Take the Brit to win outright, probably in two.
