World number 91 Lloyd Harris is better than his current ATP ranking and reached the quarter-finals of the European Open last October before he met the eventual champion Ugo Humbert. The 23-year-old African lost to Egor Gerasimov in his first match of 2021 last week but he should be able to bounce back here against Denmark’s Mikael Torpegaard. The 26-year-old made it through to the Australian Open despite losing one of his three qualifying matches for his Grand Slam debut here and whilst he could snatch a set off Harris it is more likely that this match falls in three robust sets for the South African.
