Slovenia vs Cyprus prediction

Slovenia were underwhelming in UEFA qualification for FIFA World Cup 2026 as they finished behind both Switzerland and Kosovo. The Slovenians did most recently manage to entertainingly defeat Montenegro by three goals to two in March.

They now face a Cyprus side that also earned themselves a 3-2 victory in their most recent outing as they defeated Moldova after successive losses to Austria, Estonia and Belarus. The Cypriots have only beaten Moldova and San Marino since November 2024.

The Cypriots have been declining for a while and Slovenia will be expected to come out on top in this one, especially with their home advantage.

Slovenia vs Cyprus tip: Slovenia to win
